Dr. Brinkley has discovered a way to create wormholes through time. These tears, in reality, are just large enough to view the distant past. To complete his research, he must obtain funding from corporate media. The result is the largest reality event in history, Extinction Live! A televised broadcast of the day a massive meteor wiped out the dinosaurs.

 

But problems appear when radar cannot detect the incoming asteroid, and the television host becomes desperate to save his ratings. Can humanity survive when lust for ratings leads the corporation to take actions threatening to turn small wormholes into full-fledged time portals, allowing dinosaurs to escape their own extinction?
